I’m especially pleased to be included on this project. It’s for a great cause, and I think my piece is especially apt for it. Last of His Breed is my favorite of the handful of live studio jams with which I began my ambient explorations in Spring 2004. I’m happy that the piece has found its rightful place.
Congrats to everyone involved, and thanks to Jack Hertz for undertaking this and other charitable projects, and for including me in such great company.
Update Oct. 8, 2012: Last of His Breed is the closing track on S4G Mix I, a 9-piece compilation spanning the entire Sound For Good catalog to date. Many thanks to Crazy Dymond, who programmed and mixed the collection, for including this piece!
